Mesa Feliz: A Culinary Adventure in Balanga, Bataan

Being a part-owner of Mesa Feliz, I might be a bit biased, but trust me, there’s no place like this in Bataan. We’ve crafted a menu that reflects our love for good food—whether it’s local flavors with a twist or international favorites that feel like a warm hug.

Dish Highlights:

  • Tres Leches Cake: You know when you bite into something and all you can think is, “Why haven’t I tried this sooner?” That’s our Tres Leches cake. It’s soaked through with three kinds of milk, making every bite a creamy dream. The fluffy whipped cream on top isn’t just for show—it’s the perfect counterpoint to the dense, moist cake beneath.
  • Aurora’s Itik : We’re talking about duck here—cooked for hours then fried until the skin is crispy and the meat practically melts in your mouth. Pair it with our special dipping sauce, and you’ve got a flavor combo that’s part comfort, part revelation. This is an OG dish from Aurora’s, hence the name.
  • Smoked Meats: This is where the magic happens. We’re not just throwing meat on a grill; we’re giving it the VIP treatment—slow-smoked until it’s got that perfect bark on the outside and is tender and juicy inside. Whether it’s ribs, pork belly, or steak, each bite is smoky, savory goodness that makes you wonder how soon is too soon to order seconds.
  • Napoli-Style Pizza: These aren’t your average pizzas. Think thin, perfectly blistered crusts and toppings that are both classic and a little daring. Our Margherita? It’s the kind of simplicity that lets the quality of the ingredients shine. And the truffle mushroom pizza? Earthy, rich, and absolutely addictive.
  • Fish and Carne Asada Tacos: Tacos might not be what you expect in Bataan, but ours are worth the detour. The fish tacos are crispy, light, and drizzled with a tangy sauce that cuts through beautifully. Then there’s the carne asada—juicy, flavorful beef with a kick of fresh salsa and a sprinkle of cilantro. Wrap it all up in a warm tortilla, and you’ve got yourself a perfect little package of flavor.

Ambiance and Atmosphere:

Walk into Mesa Feliz, and you’re immediately hit with a sense of calm. Inside, it’s all clean lines and natural light, with a minimalist setup that’s all about comfort and making you feel at home. Outside, the garden is where you want to be when the sun sets—fairy lights twinkling above, lush greenery all around, and a pathway that winds through a mini oasis that feels like your own secret escape.
